Asp Net Autopostback Not Working

Contents

Just create a new webform with just a dropdownlist in a form tag, and put the server side event for onchange there to see if it works. I'm doing it this way (rather than data bound objects, etc) for a specific reason, so would like to make this code work for me. There's nothing setting properties on that control which might turn autopostback off? it was WORKING PERFECTLY , but when i installed a masterpage to my project and to that page/form , the autopostback property is not working it is not changing other list navigate here

I created a new project and tested this with a simple web page. This is always a good way to test your code and make sure that everything is wired up. I've read that adding items to the dropdown this way can be problematic if not done at the proper stage of the page's lifecycle, but I've tried it on multiple other http://stackoverflow.com/questions/8099848/dropdownlist-not-posting-back-even-with-autopostback-set DrpProduct.Click += new eventHandler(DrpProduct_SelectedIndexChanged); share|improve this answer answered Oct 15 '13 at 23:11 Ami Schreiber 1511418 add a comment| Your Answer draft saved draft discarded Sign up or log in

Hi @noby thx , i changed it as u said but problem not solved.. Dropdownlist Postback Not Working It still doesn't work!! I could only assume there's something else here that I'm not seeing if you can't get it to ever return true for you on postback.
