In Options, I’ve verified that the options “Check spelling as you type” and “Mark grammar errors as you type” are enabled but it is still not working. Once I did this, my auto-correction worked perfectly. This workaround could also be in breach with (section 7 of) the Office/Outlook EULA which (broadly) states; You may not work around any technical limitations in the software.
