Apple Keyboard Right Shift Not Working
Thanks! In most cases when this happens it's account-specific based on settings, but may be global as well if the keyboard hardware is not being recognized properly. Basically, the keyboard sometimes worked when plugged in to my MacBook Pro Retina, but sometimes just totally failed to respond, and the mouse plugged into its extra USB port didn't work Ideas? have a peek here

I'm guessing that due to the non-standard plug of the Apple keyboards (with the "gap") occasionally the remaining connection cannot deliver enough power to support the keyboard. i thought about this Thank you so much! Tried the restarting and using another port neither of which worked. Thanks You very much. 20 second fix to a 4 month problem. So I tried a few things and ended up plugging my phone into the keyboard (keyboard still attached by extension cable to my Mac). This all works but there are now no available USB ports on the MBP.
