worked for me too. Try plugging your keyboard into one end of this cord and the other into your computer. At least that will no longer be a problem, thanks to the new fix. I feel scammed by Apple, and that is something I've never experienced before. have a peek here
I've left the batteries out for days, and they still remember, so it's some sort of flash memory. Bingo! I'm guessing that due to the non-standard plug of the Apple keyboards (with the "gap") occasionally the remaining connection cannot deliver enough power to support the keyboard. Make sure mouse keys and slow keys are turned off Go to System Preferences > Accessibility and select Mouse & Trackpad from the menu on the left.

It would be very difficult, at best, to allow it to connect and then go to each computer to see if it is the offending one.
