Brand new iMac that refused to detect my wired keyboard. My keyboard is paired! so i removed the wireless k-b from the bluetooth list and restarted the procedure: bang! Apple Wireless Keyboard Not Connecting

Just trying your solution - putting into a USB hub - has worked immediately. Bluetooth turned on and at least one wireless device is connected. It worked great under Snow Leopard, then Lion, then Mountain Lion but with Mavericks… I get it working from time to time but after many disconnect/connect operations. First it would display the name of the Keyboard in the tablet, but not connect.

I wish I would have come across your article sooner. why not find out more But whatever it remembers it can cause it to have problems connecting later. Press the power button (pictured below) and watch the indicator light. I need a way to totally and completely reset the keyboard so that it does not maintain any of its previous pairing information.
