So, I found this article via google and followed the instructions, although using an interdental brush folded back upon itself worked first time - pins, cotton buds and toothpicks hadn't. the mic even works on the pair I put through the wash, which they weren't doing this morning. TeeDotOwe I had no lint in my ipod. Check This Out Then decided to use a toothpick and I was surprised to pull a big piece of lint stuck in there that I couldn't see.
