Members have access to different forum appearance options, and many more functions. Place two fingers at the right side of your trackpad and swipe them to the left to open the Notification Center.

After it disconnects, reconnect it by pushing in the button on the right upper side of the trackpad.
Then double check if your Three Finger Swipe is on and working. For example, when we double-tap with two fingers on a How-To Geek article, it automatically zooms so that the main content column fills the browser window. What worked for me was doing all the solutions above, before I unplugged a USB hard drive that was connected. I'm no longer an advocate after this and other problems.
All it is doing for me os making the currently active window smaller, highlighting it and telling me what it is, pulling my dock up, and showing my home screen background I can't understand why they did it.
