This will change back all the setting to default. The symbol will indicate rotation if your little switch controls mute and the symbol will indicate speaker if the switch controls rotation. Swipe to the left until you find the app that is giving you problems, then swipe the large thumbnail upwards to close the app. Sometimes the sound fix can be very simple or more compilcated one that would need you to reset your iPhone 6/5.
