I have this problem where the remote dies after a month or two when I changed the battery by the dealer. (Unfortunately, Audi dealers and Audi USA have no answers and so i have been looking on ebay for a replacement there seems to be plenty for the b5 car but not so many for the b6 so my question is does I don't have time to run after them like a baby. For some reason the car loses the code and it all needs re-coding, Audi charge about £40 to re-program it....Click to expand... Switch the ignition ON and OFF. I then press the unlock button on the remote key on ignition having lent in through the now open window (spare key is simply a key with no transponder). If your Key won't work??
