The little light even lit green, but netstat battery toolbar still showed "not charging", and then the light slowly dimmed and shut off. I used a toothpick and a damp paper towel and swivelled around for a few minutes (picked up a lot of dust…) and it worked!! On the built-in keyboard, press the (left side) Shift-Control-Option keys and the power button at the same time. I tried to charge it but it sais that the battery is not charging, even though the screen lit up when I connected my charger to my Laptop.
