It would appear that there is another page which is a redirect inserted into the process. Now 2 weeks later, I'm noticing the lag between pages, more like an older chip. Add-Ons are disabled.

I got home and booted up my WIndows 7 PC and Google search is broken. I understand the issue with the back button in IE is a known problem going back several versions, so I am going to mark this issue as resolved. Sometimes there are ads listed there also. my review here It seems a lot faster than the other browser was, even on this machine.
