After flushing the heater core, replacing the coolant temp sensor (was getting fault codes), replacing the thermostat, water pump and timing belt components (was due anyhow). Pour CLR into the hose connected to the heater core until it starts to flow out the drain hose into the bucket. I bled the air out of the system.
