It will be giving your MAF funny readings and most likely running rich (using more fuel) and losing a little power. The management works very hard to make sure the community is running the best software, best designs, and all the other bells and whistles.
I talked her through checking the coolant level, it's fine, so i told her to drive it and watch for the gauge to creep above the normal "90", if it did I thought it was close by that area, maybe im misled. Disconnected the battery to reset, engine light went out and gauge started working properly. My one year old VAD modile wired cable is worthless on CAN BUS vehicles. Eventually I got in and replaced the thermostat and it worked great. WIll it harm it to drive the beastie?
